"This beer is based on a industrial pale lager, but the final result are surprisingly. In many modern breweries, the process of fermenting beer is made in a concentration higher than usual (High Gravity Brewing) in order to spare tanks capacity. After fermentation, the beer is diluted with deaerated water to the desired gravity. So you can make a "bock" simply diluting less than it would be done for a pilsen, adding also malt extract, caramel colorant and isomerised hops.
It's not really a "bock", but the final result is a well drinkable beer.
Brazilian greatest competitor, Ambev, does the same way for its "Brahma bock", with similar results."
A cerveja ainda é feita assim?
