Imperial stout aged in bourbon, rum & maple syrup barrels
After a summer 2020 weekend in the Norwegian wilderness with Põhjala, we filled imperial stout into a very specific ratio of rum, bourbon, and maple syrup barrels. Over a year later, these barrels have imparted a diversity of flavours and aromas into the beer that go beyond the characteristics of the liquids that they once contained. Best enjoyed outdoors with friends.

Water, Barley Malt, Oats, Hops, yeast.

Apresentou coloração preta opaca com espuma marrom escura de fina formação e média persistência. No aroma temos rum, baunilha, toffee, chocolate amargo, maple, ameixa, licor de cacau e amêndoas torradas. O sabor segue o aroma, complementado por interessantes notas que remetem a Bourbon. Final semi-seco. Tem bom corpo, carbonatação amena e textura licorosa. Os 13,3% de teor alcoólico estão perfeitamente inseridos. Estupenda parceria de duas cervejarias maravilhosas!
