Everyone always asks us what our favorite beer style is, and we tell them the truth - we don't have a favorite beer style, because beer is situational, like music and food. Sometimes we're in the mood for stuffed quail and Mozart. And sometimes we're in the mood for pizza and the Ramones. But the truth is that although we love all of our beers, our desert-island beer style just might be saison, the farmhouse style from Belgium. And if we were on a desert island, we'd need a beer we could drink all the time.
And that beer might well be Radius. Radius is a saison that harks back to the days when farmhouse beers were session beers, full of flavor, but light enough that you could stick with them all day or all evening. At only 4.8% ABV, Radius is among the lightest beers we've ever made, but it's packed with flavor. Our Belgian yeast strain gives complex spicy notes and some bright orange zest flavors, while Perle and Aurora hops give a zippy bitterness and a pleasant floral aroma. Radius is bone-dry, unfiltered, hoppy, and refreshing, and doesn't put the hard whammy on us after a glass or two (okay, it's true - we're sometimes in the mood for the hard whammy...but not always!).
Radius is a beer that will brighten your day in cold weather, but will help you celebrate a fine beach day too. And it's nice to have a super-tasty beer on hand that will leave you with enough brain power to find your way off that desert island. Fortunately, though, we're not on a desert island - we're on a lush, cool island called Brooklyn, and we like it here. And since the Great Borough of Brooklyn is the only place you can drink Radius, well, we may just be chillin' on this island for a long time. Don't worry, y'all - get on the ferry, call it your "river yacht", and come drink some Radius with us.

Good for what was made: to be a nice Belgian session ale.
Boa para o objetivo para que foi feita: ser uma agradável Session ale tipo belga.
