Primátor Weizenbier

Primator Weizenbier has intense flavour, the zesty wheat adding a hint of banana and a delicious clove-like aroma typical for this type of beer. It is full-flavoured, medium-bodied with the classic mild bitterness character of the Saaz hop. The rounded fruit characteristics are the result of the blend of upper brewer’s yeast and wheat malt. It is easily recognisable at first sight…. unfiltered, highly yeasty, straw coloured beer with an appealing cloudiness caused by yeastand protein. This beer is a real thirst-quencher. Recommended for steaks and other roasted meats such as duck, it is also delicious with pork hamburgers, sausages, sea food and soft cheeses. The beer should be served in a typical tall slender glass which ensures a hearty head. If the cloudiness appears insufficient, before topping-up mix the rest of the beer in the bottle to release the sediment. Perfect served with a lemon slice, chilled between 6-8°C. In the past thirty years there has been a beer renaissance, especially among younger drinkers who like to try innovative styles of beer. This beer is more occasional and thanks to its mild bitterness it if often loved by women. It’s certainly the beer of the moment.
