Mythos beer is a lager with a rich head, bright blonde colour and a pleasant refreshing taste. Produced from select varieties of barley and hops is a guarantee of enjoyment in every occasion.
Mythos is the authentic Greek Heritage beer, launched in 1997 and produced in Thessaloniki – Northern Greece. Since its first year of launching managed to reverse the situation in the Greek beer market and win the hearts of the Greek and the foreign consumers despite the difficulties and the obstacles arising from the nature of local competition.
Mythos beer recipe was a result of the combination of the expertise of the Greek Master Brewer of Mythos Brewery and the know-how in brewing coming from the cooperation with important European Schools of beer such as the German, the Irish, the Danish and the French. The know-how in brewing was combined with the thorough knowledge of the market and the preferences of the Greek Consumers as well as the business acumen. After many company trials with beer experts and taste trials with consumer groups, the final authentic recipe was decided, creating a beer with a rich head, a light blonde colour, a pleasant fruity aroma and a refreshing taste.
Mythos' exceptional quality and impressive and versatile personality led it to becoming one of the three largest selling beer brands in the Greek market and the beer of choice for more and more consumers.
It is worth mentioning that Mythos beer is the only Greek beer that managed to break the market share barrier of 3% share by acquiring an 8% share today, thus becoming the challenger brand of the market.
In 2001 Mythos won the golden award at the Canadian Interbeer International Beer & Whiskey Competition among 200 participants (beer and whiskey).
In 2008 Mythos beer is awarded for its unique taste and exceptional quality that impressed the taste connoisseurs of the worldwide acknowledged organization 'International Taste & Quality Institute' (iTQi), thus winning the 2 stars Superior Taste Award.
Approximately 710 products from all over the world and from different categories participated in this event, but Mythos made the difference as the only Greek beer that won the superior taste award in the 2008 competition.

APARÊNCIA: Cor dourada, límpida, colarinho marfim espumoso de tamanho reduzido e baixa duração, sem transição.
SABOR: Baixo a grão (malte) e médio-baixo dulçor do adjunto (maltose), sem presença de lúpulo ou álcool, final seco.
PALATO: Corpo médio-leve com média-alta carbonatação que provoca média adstringência.
CONJUNTO: International Pale Lager com falhas no aroma e sabor, doce para o estilo, "drinkability" elevada.
Aroma levemente herbal e lightstruck.
No sabor há malte, mas também parece haver milho. O amargor se sobressai um pouco e há ainda um interessante queimadinho no fim.
Corpo entre leve e médio, carbonatação crocante e moderada.
Boa, um pouco mais marcante que uma Heineken, por exemplo.
